“Cut-Out” is a site-specific installation for Espai Ubú in Barcelona. The gallery has enormous windows in three facades that I used as starting point and surface for my drawings. The silhouettes or outlines of architectural constructions on the windows are a layer over the reality outside. In this way they relate to their environment, an old neighborhood in Barcelona that is under construction. The geometrical forms on the floor were cut out in the vinyl layer, like a graphic technique.
